Significant experience in the Energy and Renewable Energy Markets for both Public and Private entities. Held executive positions including leadership of major programs which have included the following renewable energy related responsibilities:
Power/Energy Related Large-Scale Programs
Management and fiscal responsibility for a number of large programs where both power and water facilities/systems development, design, construction and short and long-term operations/maintenance where required including the following;
Executive Program Director- Los Angeles Community College District Bond Program ($10B) -Responsible while employed by AECOM for the continued development, renovation, maintenance and operations of 9 campuses across the LA Metro Area collectively attended by more than 200,000 students. The work included completion of an average of more than 100 projects annually including renovation/upgrade and/or new construction of educational facilities, administration/support and athletic facilities as well as critical energy, transportation and water infrastructure. The energy projects involved major upgrades to existing substations, complex relocation of existing utilities and installation of new utilities, as well as providing additional power generation in the form of natural gas fired turbines, diesel fired CHP as part of backup systems and additional renewable energy assets (Solar)
Executive Program Director – Ministry of Education/Tatweer Building Company (TBC) Schools Program Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) ($20B) – Executive Program Director for the TBC KSA schools program based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia while employed by AECOM with the 10-year agenda to complete more than 5000 projects to completely overhaul the education platform across the entire Kingdom. The program involved the development, design, construction and O&M of both renovated and new school facilities including individual school buildings as well as large scale campuses in both large metro and remote rural settings. The projects required significant upgrades and/or construction of new power and water infrastructure, including substations, transmission, utility duct banks and water storage/ conveyance systems; as well as oil fired CHP and larger scale turbines to provide adequate new power in many of the locations.
Executive Program Director, Ministry of Housing (MOH), KSA ($20B) – Executive Program Director while employed by Parsons with the 5-year agenda to provide the first 75,000 homes of an intended total of 500,000 homes across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The work required the development, design. and Construction at 15 locations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of new single family, multi-family and large scale institutional support facilities (hospital, fire, police administration, etc.). The project also required the development, design and construction of all energy and water infrastructure, including transmission, distribution and generation of adequate oil-fired power.
